If you are unable to obtain a free Annual Credit Report for whatever reason or wish to obtain more information (such as your credit score), you can purchase a copy directly from any of the individulal credit bureaus. Also, if you have been turned down for credit within the past 30 days because of negative or derogatory information on your report, the bureau that issued the report to the creditor must provide you with a copy of the report at no charge upon written request.
